I'm not saying that what happened in Ecuador this week has been a coup and who has not been. Of course, I do not have the data necessary for a claim or the other, nor will I be the one who insults the coup to anyone without foundation ... as I have heard quite often lately, ... and actually, I confess that I worry quite recently that it is or not, because after all the same Correa, like any agent with minimal brain should know that when your circus full of wild beasts, if you leave feed them and teach them to be violent, you're likely to require the food or even intending to become a starter ... the end of the day who did not take the word of mouth revolution are still certain leaders, who use it more often than those who should really begin.
... What I am going to cite is the collection of motifs, disordered and disjointed, which makes me doubt VERY SERIOUSLY that this is a coup, but rather have me convinced that all this is just another of many populist nonsense that ultimately aim to get used some "leaders? American.
NO ME WHAT I THINK OF ECUADOR HAS BEEN A COUP BECAUSE :
- In all coups there is someone who seeks power or it argues. Here, no.
- We still have not heard one voice from the other version. Today, we have not even complain why the police. Not a single newspaper or television spokesman. Even all the TV channels were reconnected to the official signal. That's kidnapping of press freedom by the ruling.
- In any case trade union dispute the president of a country is the first option to negotiate, but rather is often the last. If he has left to do it is because he wanted to.
- The shtick theater's balcony, "Kill me if you want" is like asking to please give two hosts, for provocative and arrogant, if not an insult.
- Minister of Security of Ecuador came out yesterday saying on CNN that police had gone on strike because "we got a raise." Literally, he insisted that conditions had improved police ... and seconds later, that this was a coup.
- For Correa now this is a fantasy strategy: I was finding so many problems to pass laws, lack of support within his own party, which included what is best for you right now is to call early elections and dissolve the legislature.
- President self-kidnaps and self-seekers in a Hospital, endangering the lives of all those present. That is irresponsible in the highest degree.
- All union to which worsens their status is often rebel, and in Latin America is daily bread. Or in other protests, such as those of other teachers in Honduras are allowed physical violence against private property ... and here we have to wonder these behaviors???. And even if a union assembly, and whose neglect of duties can put together a chaos in the country in a few hours, as is the case.
- Across the rescue sequence is not a single policeman. Me honestly, I think that either the cops were blind, or if I do not understand like half-hour shootout between professionals weapons, only one person is injured by a fall.
- The military themselves have asked Correa immediate repeal of the law in question.
And above all, and most importantly: FROM OFFICERS, NOT LEFT TO ACKNOWLEDGE, WITHOUT ANY PROOF FROM THE FIRST TIME, THE OPPOSITION. Everyone I think what you want, but I think the clearest evidence of the manipulation of information and facts to which we are witnessing.
So at least to me, I am not convinced. Every story I read and every minute that passes I see more clearly that it is a publicity stunt by Correa, sloppy and opportunistic, mounted on the march to a trade union dispute with a motivation more than clear.
And what saddens me every day, is that as usual, the powers that global (UN, OAS, many presidents, etc etc etc) appear side by side to show their "toughness" every time you pronounce the word Hit "... but nevertheless, always let others do the same, and undo at will in the day to day, the leaders 'democratic' things like rigging elections, violating laws, execute genocide, amend constitutions to perpetuate themselves in power, to disobey resolutions international, and especially slaughter with power machinery and over the common people, that most of the time, has no idea where you are falling hosts.
